A Chapter of Maine Audubon
We hope you’ll join us Saturday for a bird walk on The Whistle Stop Trail, off Oakes Street in Farmington. The weather may not beperfect, but the birds will still be there—and so will we, with coffee and bagels! We’ll gather at 8 am before heading out on the trail.
I was on the trail yesterday afternoon and spotted about 35 species, including eight warbler species!
The Whistle Stop Trail is flat and gravel-covered. We will be out for a couple of hours and may walk a couple miles depending on the group’s interest.
