A graduate of\nMaine Law\, Nick worked on landscape-scale energy policy issues for the National Parks\nConservation Association in D.C. until moving home to Maine in 2018. He is also a nature\nwriter\, and the author of several books\, including the American Birding Association Field\nGuide to the Birds of Maine (2022)\, and forthcoming books on evolution and avian\nconservation
